Creativity, made simple.

Newcastle-based photographer and ceramic artist with a focus on thoughtful, process-led work. Capturing meaningful moments through photography and offering mindful creative experiences in clay.

Hey there, I’m Myf.

I work across two practices bringing a consistent approach to everything I create. Whether capturing events and spaces through the lens, or exploring form and process with clay, my work is rooted in presence, curiosity, and care for people, places, and materials.

A considered approach to making

Both my photography and ceramic work are guided by the same principles, working mindfully, paying attention, and creating with care. This is not about producing more, but about making space for thoughtful, intentional work that feels grounded and meaningful.

My process

My photography and ceramics is shaped by a process-led approach that values presence, collaboration, and care for people and place.

I work slowly and thoughtfully, creating space for genuine connection and considered outcomes. Whether I am documenting an event, capturing a space, or guiding a workshop, the focus is always on intention, respect for materials and environments, and creating work that feels meaningful rather than rushed.

People I Work With

This creative practice is for individuals, businesses, and organisations who value genuine imagery, thoughtful making, and a grounded way of working.

People come to me when they are looking for photography that reflects real moments and identities, or when they want to engage with clay through mindful, process-driven studio experiences. Across both practices, the emphasis is on quality, care, and collaboration, with attention given to both the experience and the outcome.

Photography for People, Places, and Moments

As a professional photographer, I capture real moments that tell their unique story. Whether it’s a celebration, a space you’ve designed, or a moment you want to remember, I work to capture it naturally and thoughtfully. My approach is collaborative and intentional, so the images reflect what matters most.

Events & Gatherings

For celebrations, community events, workshops, and shared moments.

I document events and gatherings as they naturally unfold, capturing connection, atmosphere, and the small details that give each moment its meaning. This approach suits community events, creative gatherings, brand launches, workshops, and celebrations where authenticity matters.

Creativity doesn’t need to be loud or rushed to matter. It just needs care, intention, and room to unfold.
